Great costumer service and delicious food at a reasonable price compared to other bakeries

The most delicious conchas in town. Friendly service as if you're at your grandmas house:)

I'm going to say 4.5 stars and round up. Mami's is your typical mom and pop neighborhood panderia or bakery. They offer lots of pan dulce or sweet bread, along with tamales and burritos. They had menudo on weekends. I'm not sure if they do anymore but I remember it being good. Their red pork tamales were also good. I haven't had their green or sweet tamales yet. They're $13 a dozen. I didn't get any this time. I used to stop by more frequently when I lived down the street. I'd sometimes go after mass at St. Stephen. I miss attending mass! I was in the neighborhood the other day so I stopped by. The owner is very nice and helpful. She always has been. I ordered some cookies and pastries to take to my grandparents and to the house. I had this chocolate sugar cookie with sprinkles. It was really good! I didn't know how sweet it would be. It was perfect for me because it wasn't too sweet. It was just right. It was also really crunchy. My favorite Mexican-type pastry is the elote. I don't know if it's really called that but my grandma and mom always called it that. It's long and sugary on the outside. It has lots of red jelly inside of it. It's so good! I also ordered a couple of mini pies in raspberry and pineapple. Not too bad for $5 and change. I'll definitely stop by again. Mami's is following safety precautions. You must wear a mask to enter and social distance.

I've been here twice and the service is great and so are the sweets! I tried the powdered and sugar cookies and glazed donuts. The donuts are so fresh and delicious!!! Marta the owner is so nice. They will make special orders for you if you call ahead!
